SAN ANTONIO BUSINESS JOURNAL – Sanger & Altgelt LLC Insurance agency announced the promotion of Heather Haynes and Mac Altgelt to president and CEO, respectively. Both Haynes and Altgelt are longtime employees of the San Antonio-based agency.
The firm offers business and personal insurance as well as risk management services.
As new executives, both Altgelt and Haynes help clients navigate an uncertain economic future while bringing in clients from various industries.
“We want to grow without sacrificing service,” said Altgelt.
The firm has extended services to clients in unique industries such as crypto, bitcoin mining, CBD and other niche sectors.
Both indicated that rising interest rates, inflation and supply chain disruptions influence how they advise clients.
“Everyone is in the same boat now,” said Altgelt. “If you were in a hard to place before, you’re just harder to place now. If you were in an easy to place before, you’re kind of in a hard place now.”
